Sorry about the quiet spell. Came down with a bad flu last Friday, so that kind of chewed up a lot of time. Before that, I started a project at work which ate up 3 days, so that accounts for about a week of silence.
Not a lot of new to report on tangible developments. I have a meeting with Cam Roxburgh in early March, which is exciting. He is the director of Forge Canada, a church planting support network, and also in leadership with Southside Community Church, a multicampus church spanning a number of communities in Greater Vancouver. Hoping to pick his brain on a number of levels.
The whole family has been sick for about a week. Cheryl is now down with bronchitis which has taken the wind out of her so much she is basically on bedrest. We have a friend coming over to help her today, keep tabs on the boys. So pray for her health to be restored.
Also, pray for my work. We are still expecting some kind of new compensation plan, but I have been working on a side project on my own initiative, and should God bless it, it could result in a new direction for my career at my company – one that may even be portable!
